Who is Morris Memorial Baptist Church?
Morris Memorial Baptist Church is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and the Tennessee Baptist Convention.
The purpose of our church is to grow the Kingdom of God through five basic actions: Evangelism, Ministry, Fellowship, Discipleship, and Worship.
Some basic beliefs of Morris Memorial Baptist Church are:
We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God.
We believe Jesus Christ is the only Son of God, born on this earth to die on the cross for the purpose of the salvation of mankind.
We believe salvation is a free gift available to everyone, but the only way to obtain salvation and eternal life is through Jesus Christ.
We believe in believer's baptism following a decision for salvation and in the observance of The Lord's Supper.
